Bartender/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience of our patrons.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.

Skills

• Experience in a nightclub or bar setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
• Proficient in food handling techniques to ensure safe preparation and service.
• Excellent mathematical skills for drink measurements and cash register operations.
• Familiarity with catering services is a plus.
• Exceptional time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during peak hours.
• Proven sales abilities to promote specials and upsell menu items effectively.
• A strong sense of hospitality to create memorable experiences for guests in a lively environment.
