Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or Aloha POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working in the bar environment.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures in the food service industry.
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in nightlife or bartending roles, is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
