Bartender/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartenders/Servers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fast-paced environments providing exceptional service while crafting a variety of beverages. This role requires a strong understanding of hospitality and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We are also seeking those with an interest in learning more about wine.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink options.
• Ability to act as bartender or server depending on needs of the shift.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or Toast POS system.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
• Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and patrons.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender and server.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage presentation.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere.
• Familiarity with retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must possess valid food handling certification as required by local health regulations.
• Experience using cash registers or Toast POS systems is a plus.
• Current SAFE Serv certificate a plus.

Pay: From $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
