Position Summary

The Bartender/Server is responsible for delivering a STELLAR! guest experience by providing exceptional food and beverage service in a fast-paced hotel and theater environment. This role requires a high level of energy, attention to detail, and the ability to balance restaurant service with theater concession demands. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, a sense of urgency, and a sense of humor to every shift while maintaining professionalism and integrity.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Service

• Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to all guests in the restaurant, bar, and theater concession areas
• Create a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests and anticipating their needs
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly
• Ensure guests have a seamless experience before, during, and after theater performances

Bartending Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
• Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times
• Monitor inventory and communicate low stock or supply needs

Restaurant & Concessions Support

• Serve food and beverages in the dining area and assist with theater concessions during peak times
• Operate POS system accurately for orders and payments
• Assist with setup, restocking, and breakdown of service areas
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and team members to ensure timely service

Cleanliness & Compliance

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all work areas
• Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and health department regulations
• Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned

Teamwork & Culture

• Support team members across all food and beverage areas as needed
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a fun, respectful work environment

• Be reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute each shift

Qualifications

• Previous bartending and/or serving experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel, theater, or entertainment venue
• Knowledge of basic cocktail preparation and beer/wine service
• Alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Familiarity with POS systems

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
