Bartender/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant and nightlife setting. Specializing in Haitian cuisine and pizza, the ideal candidate will have experience in the food service industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments, and have cultural awareness. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to an enjoyable atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
• Engage with customers, taking orders accurately while providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems, ensuring accurate billing and change.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management to ensure stock availability.
• Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations within the bar area, including responsible alcohol service practices.

Qualifications

• 3 years of previous bartending experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or bar & lounge settings.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends within the food industry.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to foster positive guest interactions.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Pay: $7.50 - $50.00 per hour
