BARTENDER/SERVER

Spirit Mountain is hiring a Bartender/Server to join our team! This is your opportunity to work in a fun and dynamic environment across any one of our restaurants or bars. As a Bartender/Server, you will provide an excellent dining and drinking experience for our guests, ensuring they enjoy their time on the mountain.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including crafting cocktails, while following all food and beverage regulations.
• Interact with customers by taking orders, making food and drink recommendations, and ensuring a friendly, guest-focused experience.
• Verify identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Restock and maintain bar inventory, keeping the bar area clean and polished.
• Operate the point of sale system to process payments (cash, credit cards, discounts, etc.) and handle money responsibly in accordance with company policies.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Numeracy and cash-handling skills and the ability to reconcile their register using the Point of Sale System
• Able to work flexible schedules
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven working experience as a bartender.
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
• Computer literacy.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
• Relevant training certificate.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

• Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift to 30 pounds.
