Bartender/Server

We are looking for a Bartender/Server who is able to work evenings and day shifts accordingly. $7 an hour plus tips.

Day Shifts are from 10:30am-4pm and evening shifts from 4-9pm (sometimes later depending on how busy it gets)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to streamline service.
• Provide attentive customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including processing payments via POS systems and providing correct change.
• Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring all supplies are prepared and ready for service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow during peak hours while managing time effectively.

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through strong time management skills.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to food safety regulations is essential.
• Knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Prior experience in catering or food industry roles enhances your ability to excel in this position.
