Heatherfields, located inside Bay Valley Resort, is hiring a skilled Bartender/Server to join our team. Our restaurant and bar space have been recently renovated, and with continued enhancements happening throughout Bay Valley Resort, this is an exciting time to come on board.

This position is ideal for someone who is confident bartending and serving their own tables. You must be efficient behind the bar, great at multitasking, and genuinely enjoy delivering elevated hospitality.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve and bartend your own section with speed, accuracy, and professionalism
  • Craft high-quality cocktails and beverages consistently
  • Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service
  • Engage with guests—many of our regulars love chatting about the ongoing upgrades and future plans for the property
  • Maintain a clean, organized bar and dining area

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, including banquet events and catering functions.
  • Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
  • Uphold the highest standards of hospitality while creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Skills

  • Proficient in Toast systems is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Experience in fine dining, nightclub settings, or food service environments is highly desirable.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
