Bartender/Server

Prohibition (547 King Street) is looking to hire two skilled cocktail bartenders who will also have serving shifts. Each candidate must have full knowledge of classic cocktails, along with a vast knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and food. Candidates must be speedy behind the bar, while maintaining an upbeat and professional attitude. Must have 4+years serving/bartending experience and have full availability on Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve dinner/brunch and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Serve dining customers and have full knowledge of food menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Serve tables

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $45.00 per hour
