Bartender/Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
• Collaborate with catering staff during events to provide excellent service to guests.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
• Familiarity with food handling regulations is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
