Bar Kamon is a Japanese-inspired craft cocktail bar located behind a hidden entrance inside Asa Bakery in East Village.

We focus on precision, restraint, and hospitality rooted in omotenashi — anticipating guest needs without being asked. Our program blends Japanese technique, modern cocktail methods, and a deep respect for detail.

We are currently looking for a Bartender and/or Server to join our team.

Experience in craft cocktails or high-level service is preferred, but attitude and work ethic matter more than résumé.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-level guest experience aligned with our service standards
• Maintain strong product knowledge and confidently guide guests
• Execute drinks and/or service with precision and consistency
• Support team flow during service (full hands in, full hands out)
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness at all times
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members

Requirements

• 2+ years of restaurant or bar experience preferred
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts
• Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be reliable and punctual

Compensation

• Hourly + tips (competitive based on experience)
