Bartender/Server - Full Time

Job Overview
As a bartender at On The Rocks, you'll serve drinks, take food orders, and help create a clean, fun and welcoming environment. You'll also help maintain the bar area and assist with basic cleaning at the end of your shift.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks in a timely manner.
• Manage the bar area, including cleaning surfaces, washing glassware, and restocking supplies as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service practices are followed.
• Assist in events as required, providing bartending services for private functions or special occasions.
• Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, brewing techniques, and food safety standards to ensure high-quality service.
• Take food orders and manage tabs.
• Prepare food orders
• Check IDs and ensure guests are 21+
• Close down the bar, including: sweeping & mopping, cleaning surfaces and drink stations, and taking out trash.
• Support simulator bay areas when needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Must be 21+ years of age

This job is $12/hr plus 100% of your tips!
