Bartender/Server (Part Time)

Marriott Townplace Suites Monroe is looking for a Bartender to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You will set up the bar, stocking, cleaning and restocking, and provide service under the guidance of the Bar Manager. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working person with a positive attitude. You must be able to follow instructions and respect the rules of the bar. We expect you to be a good shot at making drinks from scratch. We also expect you to keep the bar area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar area and prepare all needed ingredients on the bar menu
• Stock, clean and maintain all bar equipment including glasses, barware and kitchen utensils
• Ensure that all drinks are made on time and in correct quantity
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Prepare and serve appetizers
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, including washing dishes, sweeping or vacuuming, and sanitizing glasses
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain a positive attitude

Experience

• Experience as a bartender is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to follow instructions without regard to quality.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours). The candidate must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. to his or her chest.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
