Bartender/Server part time

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic part time 2 days weekly and fill in as needed Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Slow paced Hotel casual bar and cafe style dinner only.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Process orders efficiently using the POS system, including Aloha POS, ensuring accurate billing.
• Handle cash and credit transactions with basic math skills to ensure accuracy in payments.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering when necessary.
• Comply with all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with catering events as needed, showcasing versatility in various settings such as restaurants and nightclubs.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with brewing processes is a plus for those interested in craft beverages.
• Strong customer service skills are essential; ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Experience using POS systems, particularly InfoGenesis POS, is advantageous.
• Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial to ensure compliance with health regulations.
