Bartender/server (training start with busser)

At Volcano Japanese Cuisine, we offer unique, modern, and fresh Japanese cuisine and sushi, where elevated service meets an upscale dining experience. Located on Atlantic Blvd with convenient access to the Beaches and surrounding areas, our restaurant is quickly becoming known for its commitment to excellence—whether through the artistry of our dishes or the personalized service we provide to every guest.

We are currently seeking experienced Servers and Bartenders who are passionate about hospitality, have strong attention to detail, and understand the high standards that come with upscale dining.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and hospitality
• Demonstrate strong menu knowledge, including daily specials, wine and sake pairings, and recommendations
• Accurately take guest orders and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and polished dining environment
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service
• Handle busy service periods with professionalism, efficiency, and a positive attitude

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Minimum 2 year of server experience in a full-service or upscale restaurant environment

Wine & Spirits Knowledge: Familiarity with wine, sake, and cocktail service

Bartending: Full bar bartending experience is required

Personality: Friendly, professional, and personable with a genuine passion for hospitality

Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to interact with a wide variety of guests

Attention to Detail: Professional appearance and strong attention to presentation

Work Ethic: Reliable, responsible, and a strong team player

Long-Term Mindset: We are looking for individuals with a great personality who want to grow with us long-term

Availability: Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
