The Role:

The Batch Operator Lead is responsible for leading the team in blending powders and liquids in the Batch Room area. The individual will be responsible for the blending of chemicals, so the ability to follow safety procedures and wear the proper personal protective equipment is extremely important. The individual must maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. The Batch Operator Lead must be able to follow batch sheet instructions and perform associated inventory transactions. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, eager to learn, and demonstrate good attention to detail.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the team in blending batches of liquids and powders following batch work orders
• • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met throughout the tank farm area
  • Lead the Batch Operators, ensuring they are working safely with chemicals
  • Pulling and organizing materials necessary to produce finished good batches
  • Training/developing Batch Operators
  • Performing inventory transactions in SYSPRO to ensure chemicals are allocated properly and inventory is accurate
  • Safely operate a forklift to move materials around the warehouse as needed

What You Will Bring:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting, leadership experience a plus.
• Extended periods of standing.
• Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 60 pounds.
