Bath and Kitchen Designer

Duties

  • Meet with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and budgets for bathroom and kitchen renovations.
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D design concepts using software such as SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Develop comprehensive project proposals including layouts, color schemes, lighting plans, and material selections that align with client expectations.
  • Prepare accurate construction drawings and specifications utilizing CAD and Bluebeam for seamless communication with contractors and vendors.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure designs are feasible within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Assist clients in selecting fixtures, finishes, lighting solutions, and accessories that enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality.
  • Stay informed about current trends in interior design, remodeling techniques, lighting sales strategies, and construction practices to provide innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in interior design or remodeling projects specializing in bathrooms and kitchens.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and 3ds Max.
  • Strong understanding of drafting standards, color theory, lighting design principles, CAD workflows, and construction processes.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of contracts management, budgeting strategies, renovation procedures, and remodeling best practices.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate design ideas clearly to clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,111.69 - $55,000.00 per year
