We are seeking a skilled and versatile Fitter to join our construction and fabrication team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various technical trades, including roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, and carpentry. Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute tasks
• Install, repair, and maintain structural components such as roofing, masonry, and plastering works
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently
• Fabricate components through welding, cutting, and shaping materials as required
• Assist with construction painting and finishing tasks to ensure project standards are met
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all activities
• Conduct inspections to verify quality and compliance with specifications

Skills

• Proven experience in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or related trades
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques including carpentry, masonry, plastering, and fabrication processes
• Familiarity with construction painting standards and practices
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £28,420.00-£32,450.03 per year
