As a fast-growing water heater installation company with a 5.0 customer rating, we have expanded our services footprint into Plumbing. We are looking to hire one driven PLUMBER to join our team by first half of OCTOBER! In this role, you'll be training in general plumbing, as well as installation, replacement, and sometimes repair of residential and/or commercial water heaters, including both tank and tankless systems. This position will equip you with a solid understanding of plumbing systems, safety protocols, and customer service.

HOURLY PAY: $40 - $42/hr + Commission / performance BONUS

SKILLS WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• 2+ years of experience (or apprenticeship) in generalized Plumbing; military-experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
• Willingness to train, learn and keep up to date on the Plumbing Business
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Able to work independently
• Valid CA Driver's License AND good driving record [**Must be at least 25 years of age, have been driving for 2+ years, and have an insurable driving record.**]
• Must travel to our warehouse in RICHMOND, CA for Tech meetings

Day to Day duties:

• Evaluate and engage with customers to expertly diagnose, troubleshoot, and undertake a wide range of residential plumbing issues.
• Adhere with local and national plumbing codes to ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks are compliant.
• Complete physical removal of existing fixtures and installation of new fixtures/systems, using hand tools, soldering, cutting tools, piping, hoses, dollies, parts, etcetera commonly associated with plumbing work
• Prepare estimates/quotes for installation of replacement water heater and obtain customer's approval to proceed with work
• Residential service plumbing experience of 2+ years
• Accurately track repairs and work completed in Service Titan
• Procure customer payment
• Submit required documents, photos, etcetera either electronically or hard copy
• Participate in ongoing training opportunities and team meetings to support continuous professional development.
• Drive Company vehicle to Company assigned locations to obtain required parts and materials

Service Area: Our service area is all over the BAY area from North-end [Novato & Napato-areas] to San Jose-area. This position will initially train side-by-side with a Technician in and around these areas. Candidates should also have a safe place to park our company truck during off-hours. Will perform background checks and references with offer of employment.
