Compensation

We pay a flat $75/hour for all hours worked – billable and non-billable. Meetings, documentation, treatment planning, community outreach – your time is valued equally whether you’re in session or building the systems behind it.

$75/hour flat rate for all work (billable and non-billable), up to 35 hours/week

Projected base earnings: $93,750 – $136,500/year depending on hours

$1,000 onboarding bonus paid when you sign the agreement

Up to $25,000 in Year 1 revenue milestone bonuses tied to clinic growth targets – specific dollar amounts at each milestone, documented in your agreement

Total Year 1 compensation potential: up to $162,500

Malpractice insurance covered for your first year

BACB renewal and CEU costs covered

Flexibility During Credentialing

Every ABA company has to credential their BCBAs with payers – that’s not unique to Lighthouse. It takes 60–120 days regardless of where you go.

Here’s what we do differently: During the credentialing period, you’re free to maintain contracts with other agencies. Keep earning while Lighthouse’s payer contracts, marketing engine, and referral pipelines come online. When clients start flowing, you transition your caseload to Lighthouse.

Same credentialing wait as everywhere else. Completely different destination.

What You’ll Be Building

Lighthouse is a ground-up ABA practice launching in Temecula with a multi-location expansion plan across the Inland Empire. Our model includes integrated sensory and therapeutic play centers – a differentiator that creates a better experience for kids, families, and clinicians.

As our founding Clinical Director, you’re not filling a role – you’re shaping a company. Your responsibilities in the first year:

  • Design Lighthouse’s clinical protocols, assessment workflows, and quality standards from scratch
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and supervise a growing RBT team
  • Build referral relationships with pediatricians, regional centers, and school districts
  • Help recruit, train, and mentor RBTs and future BCBAs
  • Partner directly with the CEO on strategy, growth planning, and company culture
  • Have a real voice in every major decision – because you’re on the founding team

Who You Are

This role is built for you if:

  • You hold an active BCBA certification and California licensure (or eligibility)
  • You have 2+ years of BCBA experience with strong clinical skills
  • You’re frustrated with the corporate ABA grind and want to build something better
  • You thrive in ambiguity and get energized by figuring things out without a playbook
  • You want clinical autonomy, a leadership title that’s real, and a growth pathway that doesn’t exist at big agencies
  • You have the financial flexibility to maintain other contracts during our 60–120 day credentialing ramp

This probably isn’t the right fit if:

  • You need a guaranteed salary with full benefits from day one
  • You prefer established systems over building from scratch
  • You’re looking for a low-risk, steady-state position
