BDE (Upwork Specialist)

Provelopers is looking for a proactive Sr.Business Development Executive (Upwork Specialist) with strong experience in the software service-based industry, capable of managing the complete bidding and sales cycle on Upwork. The candidate should have strong communication skills, experience in handling multiple stack profiles, and in managing CRM pipelines.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end bidding process on Upwork (proposal writing, negotiation, closing).
  • Identify relevant projects and create high-converting proposals.
  • Lead full sales cycle, from lead discovery to deal closure.
  • Take discovery calls with clients and turn leads into customers.
  • Track and maintain sales pipeline KPIs using CRM tools.
  • Manage and optimize multiple Upwork stack profiles.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to create estimates and execution plans.
  • Maintain client relationships and ensure repeat business.
  • Create weekly performance reports on bidding and conversions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ year experience in Business Development for software services.
  • Prior experience in Upwork bidding (MUST).
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience in lead generation (C2C/B2B) and client outreach.
  • Experience handling software development service sales.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, etc.).
  • Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent field.
  • Understanding of end-to-end software sales cycle.
  • Experience working with tech teams (Web, Mobile, UI/UX, Automation & APIs etc.).
