Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM)

Industry: High-End Luxury Furniture showroom

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager with strong existing relationships in the luxury interior, architecture, and premium furniture/lighting industry. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of driving sales through architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, PMC firms, and luxury residential/commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with:
  • Architects
  • Interior Designers
  • PMC (Project Management Consultants)
  • Builders & Developers
  • Luxury contractors
  • Corporate & hospitality clients
  • Promote the company’s premium furniture, lighting, décor and turnkey interior solutions.
  • Generate leads for high-end residential, commercial, hospitality and luxury interior projects.
  • Conduct product presentations, sample displays, and design consultations with design professionals.
  • Drive project-based sales from inquiry to closure.
  • Coordinate with internal design, production, and installation teams to ensure delivery efficiency.
  • Maintain CRM entries, project pipelines, and weekly sales reporting.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and trade meets to expand the network.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to management.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–10 years of B2B/B2C business development experience in high-end interiors, furniture, luxury lighting, home décor or real-estate allied industries.
  • Strong contacts with architects, interior designers, PMC, developers & design studios is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings, lighting plans, interior layouts (preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to visit client offices, sites, and design studios regularly.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and well-presented.
