BDS General Dentist

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Patient Care: Conduct oral exams, diagnose conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Treatments: Perform fillings, extractions, root canals, apply sealants, whiten teeth, fit prosthetics (crowns, dentures).
• Prevention: Educate patients on brushing, flossing, diet, and provide preventive care like cleanings.
• Diagnostics: Interpret X-rays and other diagnostic tests, and refer to specialists when needed.
• Medication: Administer anesthetics and prescribe antibiotics or pain relief.
• Management: Supervise dental assistants and hygienists, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Surgical Procedures: Perform surgeries on teeth, gums, and jawbones.
