Beachfront Community Association Manager/ LCAM

Overview:

This position is for a Community Association Manager.

The position requires a highly organized individual able to master multiple administrative projects and tasks at the same time. The successful candidate must possess strength and talent in project management, attention to detail, and ability and willingness to get work done on time. Tasks will involve short, middle, and long-term projects while concurrently dealing with the many aspects of a business ranging from daily administration as well as vendor, capital, and maintenance projects. It also requires strong leadership skills to manage a small office staff and maintenance department.

Responsibilities:

The Association Manager will be responsible for the following:

Overseeing the daily operation of the community administratively, financially, and operationally, which includes addressing community concerns in a prompt and timely manner;

Vendor relations, contract negotiations, property condition and maintenance need awareness, including observation and current knowledge of condition of common areas, landscaping, and structures;

Maintaining awareness of and tracking insurance renewals and other subscription and contract renewals;

Working with the Board of Directors and outside financial vendors to develop a viable and financially responsible final proposed budget, and thereafter reporting any budget variances;

Providing direction and coordination of daily workflow for office and maintenance staff;

Maintaining awareness of, tracking, and overseeing performance of vendors;

Responding to emergencies when not on the property.

Qualifications:

· An active CAM license in good standing or willingness to obtain same.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent life experience.

· A minimum of 3 years Property Management experience.

· Strong leadership and verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational, time management, and presentation skills.

· Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and overall strong software skills.

· Proficiency with property management software.

· Quickbooks or Accounting software knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
