Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of drinks and related offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Manage POS systems such as Toast POS efficiently for accurate order processing, cash handling, and billing.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to promote guest safety.
• Collaborate with team members during busy periods like nighttime events or beach parties to deliver seamless service in a dynamic environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in food and beverage service, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to connect with diverse guests.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, proper food handling, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals.
• Experience in catering or banquet environments is a plus for special events or large gatherings.
