Beauty Care Company Hiring a Package Designer (Full-Time)

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Package Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing innovative packaging solutions that not only protect products but also enhance their visual appeal and marketability. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create intricate packaging designs (dielines) that align with brand identity and product specifications.
• Create files correctly for Printing Production Art Works (Spot and 4C Process Printing)
• Adhere to deadlines and ensure revisions are done completely and accurately
• Brainstorms concept, mock-up and samples, and marketing materials
• Touch up digital imagery of product shots and other marketing media
• Collaborate with purchasing team to ensure packaging meets functional requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies.

Qualifications

• 3 + years of Packaging Design experience
• Beauty, Cosmetic and/or Skin Care design experience is required
• Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) in Mac
• Strong graphic design skills with a focus on packaging aesthetics and functionality.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles related to packaging structures.
• Ability to work from concept through final completion (Spot and 4C Process Printing)
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Must be in legal status to work in U.S.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
