Beauty Salon Receptionist /Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Beauty Salon Receptionist / Assistant to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly, check appointments, and manage walk-in traffic with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls efficiently and courteously
  • Schedule appointments using computer software, manage calendars, and confirm bookings with clients
  • Handle client inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing excellent customer support and support for their beauty needs
  • Maintain organized filing systems, update client records, and perform data entry accurately using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Assist with office management duties such as inventory tracking, basic bookkeeping with QuickBooks, and processing payments
  • Ensure the salon’s reception area remains clean, inviting, and well-organized to enhance customer experience

Qualifications

  • Proven office management or administrative experience in a customer service environment
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, data entry, and basic bookkeeping software like QuickBooks
  • Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems
  • Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve a diverse clientele effectively
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading documents
  • Ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, calendar management, typing quickly and accurately, and supporting personal assistant duties if needed
  • Prior experience in a front desk or office environment within a service-oriented setting is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with a positive attitude to provide outstanding customer service

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
