Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive classroom instruction on cosmetology topics including hair styling, coloring, nail care, facials, makeup application, and esthetic treatments.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and supervise student practice sessions to develop their technical skills in areas such as eyelash extensions, hair extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, and laser treatments.
• Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and industry best practices to ensure effective learning experiences.
• Evaluate student progress through assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain detailed records of performance.
• Stay current with industry trends and advances in aesthetic treatments like trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and barbering to incorporate innovative techniques into lessons.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, professionalism, and continuous improvement among students.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and safety protocols related to cosmetology, esthetician, or manicure education.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cosmetology or aesthetic treatments such as facials, body waxing, dermabrasion, laser treatments, or hair styling.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to beauty therapies and advanced skills in trigger point therapy and aesthetic laser treatment are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners effectively through classroom experience or training roles.
• Excellent lesson planning skills with the ability to adapt content for diverse learning styles.
• Proficiency in a wide range of beauty services including nail care, makeup application, eyelash extensions, hair coloring, threading, and barbering.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations within a beauty education environment.

Pay: $21.32 - $25.67 per hour
