Beer Delivery Driver

Position Summary
: The Beer Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of Ballast Point beer products to distributor accounts and retail locations using a company box truck in the Southern California area. This individual will load, transport, and offload product while maintaining cold chain integrity and quality standards. The Delivery Driver serves as a brand ambassador and the primary point of contact with accounts during deliveries. This person will be a self-starter with a positive attitude, comfortable with change, and able to follow direction while working independently on route.
Key Job Responsibilities:

Deliver Ballast Point beer products to assigned accounts on designated routes using a company box truck

Load, stage, and verify outbound orders prior to departure; ensure accurate and complete delivery of all product

Plan and execute efficient delivery routes; meet scheduled deadlines and adapt as changes arise

Complete all delivery documentation accurately, including digital and physical paperwork, mileage logs, and proof of delivery

Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; maintain a safe, clean truck and immediately report any mechanical issues or incidents

Maintain product quality standards throughout delivery, including cold chain integrity; apply FIFO practices and report any quality concerns to supervisor

Comply with all company policies and applicable DOT regulations; assist other departments with various duties as needed
Qualifications:

Valid California driver’s license (non-CDL) required; must maintain a clean driving record.

At least 2+ years of experience operating a box truck (26ft) or similar straight truck in a delivery capacity. Ability to provide copy of H-6 driving record upon request.

Ability to lift heavy repetitively.

Warehouse work is required.

Reliable transportation to and from work.

Basic math skills are a must.

Ability to work flexible work schedules such as weekends, overnights, holidays and alternative work weeks.

Exert moderate skills on Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word.
Physical Requirements

Ability to work early morning shifts 2-3 days a week (~4am - 11am)

Ability to work in various weather conditions due to indoor and outdoor work duties.

Ability to work at least 8 hours daily walking, standing, bending or sitting.

Ability to lift at least 50lbs.

Ability to work in an industrial environment with loud noises, moving machinery, and subject to various weather/temperature conditions.
