Green Cheek Beer Company is seeking a passionate and reliable Beertender to join our Tasting Room team in Costa Mesa. We’re looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail, a natural sense of urgency, strong communication skills, and a commitment to keeping a clean, organized workspace. Beer knowledge is preferred, and a love for hospitality is essential.

As a server at Green Cheek, you are the face of the guest experience. Every interaction you have shapes how our guests feel when they walk out the door—welcomed, cared for, and excited to return. This is a part-time position,night and weekend availability is required. Compensation: $16.90/hr + tips

Essential Job Duties

• Provide friendly, guest-focused service at all times.
• Assess customer preferences and offer informed beer and food recommendations.
• Explain beer styles, ingredients, and hop profiles to guests.
• Promote responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest intake.
• Set up and break down the tasting room before and after service.
• Buss tables, wash and stock glassware, and maintain a clean bar and seating area.
• Regularly clean and restock restrooms and guest areas.
• Work collaboratively with staff to achieve shared goals.
• Stock and organize fridges, change kegs, and maintain inventory.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize the tasting room and guest spaces to a high standard.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 2 years of serving or bartending experience.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for long periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform physical tasks as needed.
• RBS certification and Cicerone Level 1 certification required within 60 days (reimbursement available).
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.
