Responsibilities

• Greeting customers promptly and courteously
• Adhering to the schedule set forth by the restaurant manager and executing the duties and responsibilities assigned
• Handling routine purchase transactions, which includes operating a cash register
• Ensuring that the beers on tap are acceptable to serve (right temperature, optimal quality, no off-smells or flavors)
• Engaging with each patron directly, giving each the attention they deserve, and making them feel welcomed while working to meet their needs quickly and efficiently
• Politely and respectfully addressing customers’ questions about the brewery and beer
• Conforming to and enforce regulations set forth by state law (checking IDs when necessary, curtailing overconsumption)
• Maintaining a clean bar area
• Working towards continuous optimization of restaurant operations by providing restaurant manager and restaurant owners with timely feedback
• Expertly communicating the Good Girl Brewing Co. philosophy and the uniqueness of each beer
• Playing the role of brand ambassador

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• ServSafe Alcohol certified
• Excellent people skills; able to project a friendly and helpful manner at all times
• Able to perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Must be a team player, responsive and flexible with last minute requests
• High school diploma or equivalent and/or qualified experience required
• Retail experience a plus
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for up to 8 hours a day
• Weekends, some holidays and evenings required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
