Beertender

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Beertender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving a variety of craft beers and beverages. Your expertise in brewing and your ability to engage with customers will enhance their experience and promote our offerings. Responsibilities

• Serve a diverse selection of beers and beverages while ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations based on their preferences and enhance their overall experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and maintain cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
• Educate customers about different beer styles, brewing processes, and food pairings.
• Uphold company policies regarding responsible alcohol service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, with strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers or POS systems.
• Knowledge of brewing processes and craft beer styles is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Strong sales skills to promote beverage offerings and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Commitment to upholding food safety practices within the bar area.
• Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements.

Pay: $5.00 - $10.00 per hour
