Beertender

Beachwood Brewing is seeking experienced Beertenders with a strong background in craft beer to join our teams at the Blendery and 2nd & PCH locations.

We’re looking for people who don’t just serve beer — they understand it, are passionate about it, and can confidently guide guests through a curated craft experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver elevated, knowledgeable service in a craft-focused environment
• Educate guests on our beer offerings, including styles, flavor profiles, and brewing processes
• Confidently discuss rotating taps, seasonal releases, and specialty beers (including barrel-aged and wild ales at the Blendery)
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency behind the bar
• Contribute to a strong team culture and smooth service flow during high-volume shifts

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience working in a craft beer bar, brewery, or similar environment required
• Solid understanding of beer styles, flavor profiles, and draft systems
• Ability to speak about beer with confidence and enthusiasm (without being pretentious)
• Strong hospitality mindset — warm, attentive, and guest-focused
• Ability to handle fast-paced service while staying detail-oriented
• Open availability; specifically Fridays and Saturdays and Sundays. Do not apply if you have a conflict with any of these days.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with sour/wild ales or barrel-aged beers
• Cicerone Certification (or working toward it)
• Bartending experience in a high-volume craft setting
