Millhouse by Moonraker Brewing Co. is looking for part time Beertenders to join our ever growing team! Availability on weekends is a requirement.

We are growing and adding a new bar expansion on our outdoor patio! We are searching for attentive, ambitious, and engaged individuals to support a high volume taproom & restaurant program. The right candidates will thrive in a high energy and fast paced environment. You will help to best present our standard menu and taplist, as well specials. You will be accountable to your peers and the Operations Manager. Additionally, you will work closely with our kitchen staff and production staff on back of house (BOH) collaboration and success. You must present yourself in a neat, clean, and professional manner. This includes clean uniform and exceptional personal hygiene standards.

Located at 3501 Robin Lane, Cameron Park, CA 95682, Moonraker Millhouse is a taproom, restaurant, and event space! The primary bar features 40 taps for beer and hard seltzer, plus wine and soda. Our new outdoor bar is added 8 additional taps on the patio. The kitchen features a state of the art pizza oven and the menu reflects seasonal and local flavors. There is seating for 800+ between the main taproom, an event space, and a 11,000 sq. ft. beer garden. It is important to us that our team enjoys coming to work every day, and is proud to serve our community. This is a clean, safe, and welcoming environment with positive attitudes all around.

Responsibilities

• Proper beverage/food safety handling and sanitation practices
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area and taproom/dining room
• Taking drink and food orders
• Running food orders from kitchen to table
• Bussing tables and restocking service areas
• Working behind the bar and on the floor
• Verifying ID’s for alcohol purchases
• Managing to go orders
• Cleaning and restocking bathrooms
• Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule; including deep cleaning protocol
• Maintain proper beer pouring standards
• Advanced beer and menu knowledge
• Adhere to a weekly schedule
• Engage directly with customers while representing the Moonraker brand
• Inventory management and stock rotation
• Glassware management and proper cleaning

Qualifications

• Must have California Food Handler & Responsible Beverage certifications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Hardworking & passionate about customer service
• Willingness to learn and grow as a team member
• Proper and safe handling of bar equipment
• Comfortable working and communicating under pressure
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (3-8 hours)
• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs at a time
• Previous serving experience is a plus
• Knowledge and/or passion for the brewing industry is also a plus!
• Must be 21+ years of age

The starting pay for this position is $16.50/hour plus tips. We are hiring for part time positions 3-5 days per week. Weekend availability is required.
