We are seeking a highly adaptable, service-driven professional to operate across two distinct bar environments: a high-volume craft beer bar and a full-service cocktail/wine/spirit bar. This role requires both technical bartending skill and deep familiarity with draft beer systems, along with the ability to shift seamlessly based on business needs.
Core Responsibilities
Beer Bar (Beertender Duties)
Execute high-volume draft beer service with speed and accuracy
Maintain expert-level knowledge of Ever Grain’s beer portfolio (styles, flavor profiles, ABV, pairings)
Properly pour, present, and serve beer according to style standards
Monitor keg levels and communicate 86s proactively
Maintain draft system cleanliness and bar sanitation standards
Engage guests with education-driven hospitality (guiding flights, tasters, and recommendations)
Cocktail Bar (Bartender Duties)
Prepare cocktails, wine, and spirits with consistency and precision
Follow house specs and maintain cocktail quality under volume
Demonstrate proficiency with classic cocktail builds and techniques
Manage guest tabs, pacing, and multi-step service efficiently
Maintain bar mise en place, including prep, batching, and restocking
Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and ID verification
Shared Responsibilities
Deliver high-level hospitality in a fast-paced environment
Transition between bar assignments based on flow of service
Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked workstations
Communicate effectively with team members and management
Uphold Ever Grain’s brand standards and guest experience expectations
Handle cash, POS systems, and closing procedures accurately
Qualifications
2+ years bartending experience (craft beer knowledge strongly preferred)
Comfort working both high-volume draft service and full cocktail service
Strong multitasking ability and situational awareness
Working knowledge of beer styles, cocktail fundamentals, and spirits
Ability to remain composed and efficient under pressure
Team-first mentality with strong communication skills
Preferred Experience
Craft brewery or brewpub background
Experience with draft system maintenance or troubleshooting
Familiarity with batching cocktails and high-efficiency bar setups
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Lift kegs (~160 lbs with assistance) and cases safely
Work in a fast-paced, high-noise environment
Compensation & Schedule
Hourly + tips (based on experience)
Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.00 per hour
