Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor children in a variety of sports, arts and crafts, and recreational games, to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Foster character, faith, social skills, emotional regulation, and a growth mindset.
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that foster holistic development.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies to maintain order and promote respectful interactions.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times; administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Maintain organized records of incidents and other program documentation in compliance with organizational policies.
- Reward display of character traits and leadership.
- Assist with set up and take down, including some cleaning.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp counseling, tutoring, or childcare programs.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and childhood development principles.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to manage diverse groups of children with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Experience in sports coaching, theater arts or babysitting is beneficial for creating engaging activities.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
