Join Bayes Achievement Center as a Behavior Support Mentor / Direct Support Professional (DSP) and make a daily impact supporting children with behavioral and developmental needs. This is an entry-level role with paid training, perfect for candidates interested in education, behavioral health, mental health, or social services careers.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Provide behavioral support and mentoring to youth with special needs
• Assist teachers with classroom support and instruction
• Use de-escalation and behavior management techniques
• Support daily routines in a residential setting (meals, hygiene, chores)
• Build positive relationships and promote social-emotional development

Schedule (Work-Life Balance)

• 12-hour shifts on a rotating Pitman schedule
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend off + more full days off each month

Pay & Benefits

• Pay: $17.50 per hour (Approx. $45,000/year)

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Texas driver’s license
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen

Preferred Backgrounds (Not Required)

Candidates with experience or interest in:

• Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• Behavioral Technician / ABA
• Teaching Assistant / Instructional Aide
• Youth Counselor / Residential Care
• Psychology, Education, Social Work, or Criminal Justice
