Behavior Technician

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals within Early Intervention programs or with developmental disabilities and autism, providing support through naturalistic behavioral therapy techniques. This role is essential in helping clients achieve their personal goal independence, and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst.
  • Provide direct support to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being during therapy sessions.
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress to inform treatment adjustments.
  • Inmplementation of variety of behavioral strategies based on client needs/individualized programs.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding progress and challenges.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher level education.
  • Previous experience as a Behavior Technician or working in the field of ABA therapy.
  • Current 40 hours RBT training completed (i.e., test eligible) OR RBT is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of clients.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening as required.
  • Understandings of responsibilities when handling HIPPA/patient sensitive documents.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
