Position Overview

Title: ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Schedule: Part-Time Evenings (3 PM – 7 PM)
Setting: In-home ABA therapy
Location: Los Angeles County (multiple client homes)
Status: Non-Exempt
Employment Type: At-Will
Pay Range: $20–$27/hour (based on experience, education, or RBT certification)
Experience Level: Entry-level or experienced — all are welcome
Training: PAID TRAINING provided

Whether you’re brand new to ABA or already an experienced Behavior Therapist, The A Team ABA will support your growth from day one.

What You’ll Do (and Love!)

As an ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician / RBT, you will:

• Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy to children
• Bring positivity, creativity, and connection to every session
• Teach communication, social skills, play skills, and daily living skills
• Follow individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA
• Collect data to measure progress (don’t worry — we’ll train you!)
• Support families with compassion and professionalism
• Be part of a collaborative, warm, and supportive ABA team

Typical hours: 10–20 hours per week, with the chance to grow your caseload over time.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma (required)
• Experience with children preferred (ABA experience a plus!)
• Reliable transportation across Los Angeles County
• Strong communication skills
• Professionalism, patience, and a heart for helping families

Onboarding Requirements

• Live Scan background check
• TB clearance
• CPR/First Aid (if applicable)
• Mandated Reporter training
• Completion of ABA onboarding and training
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• RBT credential (if applicable — we can help you get it!)
