HireCare Services is seeking compassionate and motivated Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide high-quality ABA therapy services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. This role offers flexible scheduling, professional development, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families across Community, VA, and surrounding areas.
As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Services may take place in home, school, or community-based settings depending on client needs.
You will:
Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed by a BCBA
Provide structured support to build communication, social, and daily living skills
Collect accurate and timely behavioral data during sessions
Communicate client progress and concerns with supervising clinicians
Complete professional session notes in a timely manner
Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and families
Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)
Active RBT certification preferred OR willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow clinical direction and work independently
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in different environments (home, school, community)
Part-time and full-time Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) positions available
Flexible scheduling based on client availability and caseload
Primarily afternoon and after-school hours (Monday–Friday)
Weekend hours available as needed
15–25+ hours per week depending on availability
$23–$29 per hour
Based on experience, certification status, and caseload availability.
