Registered Line Technician / Instructor for children with autism
Join our team and help shape the lives of children with Autism and other developmental disabilities as an ABA line technician! Under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst, you will help teach children to communicate with their loved ones, interact with their peers, learn from their environment, and so much more! We work to increase a wide variety of behaviors while also working to decrease problematic behaviors, such as tantrums, crying, and aggression, that may interfere with learning. All of our teaching is done using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA is a science based field that focuses on changing environmental variables in order to create behavior change. There is a heavy focus on creating motivation and using positive reinforcement to teach new behaviors. This approach allows for fun while learning! This position requires a zest for teaching children and a passion for learning more.

Other requirements:
- must pass a national background check - pass initial and random drug screens
- be able to lift 50 pounds
- be able to sit on the floor and in small chairs for long periods
- have reliable transportation - work well with a team - have a minimum of a high school diploma
- have experience working with children or related experience
Additional Information:
- we work with children ages 18 months to15 years old

- staff arrive daily at 7:40 and depart around 3:15

- employees must have excellent attendance
- paid time off available for all employees
