Behavior Support Specialist – In-Home ABA Services (Westchester County, NY) | $22/hr + $200 bonus + Flexible Schedule
Location: Westchester County, NY
Job Type: Full-time | Part-time | Contract | Temporary
Pay: $22.00 per hour

Join our dedicated team providing in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role offers hands-on experience working under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 in-home ABA therapy following the treatment and behavior plans designed by a supervising BCBA.
  • Build a positive and supportive relationship with each learner.
  • Implement individualized interventions and behavior strategies as directed.
  • Collect and record data accurately after each session and communicate key observations to your BCBA supervisor.
  • Maintain flexibility and adaptability when working with clients of varying abilities and needs.
  • Collaborate professionally with families, caregivers, and the clinical team.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred).
  • Multilingual candidates (Mandarin, Spanish, etc.) are highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, patience, and rapport-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and behavior management abilities.
  • Must be physically capable of working with young children with special needs.

Skills

  • Understanding of ABA principles and teaching techniques.
  • Familiarity with data collection and progress-tracking tools.
  • Ability to follow treatment plans with precision and consistency.
  • Strong attention to detail, observation, and teamwork skills.
