We are large leading Behavioral Center in the DFW area and are in a consulting agreement with the renowned Cleveland Clinic. We utilize their ABA curriculum combined with our own unique collaborative environment to offer high-quality services for children on the spectrum. We work with children 2-18 years of age. This includes children that are non-verbal and that have behavior concerns they need to work on.

About the position:

The Behavioral Technician and/or RBT role will provide direct one-on-one therapy to children with Autism and other developmental disorders in the clinical setting. Each individualized program is customized by our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the Behavior Technician to execute utilizing positive reinforcement, teaching in small steps, prompting, and repeated practice to facilitate the development of language, social interactions, independent living skills, and other aptitudes.

All Technicians will also participate in initial and ongoing training instruction on ABA therapies including pairing and play, Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and data collection techniques. The opportunity will be offered to every BT that shows aptitude and skill within the environment to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with fees & training covered by the center.

Responsibilities and Duties

As part of the position, the BTs & RBTs will:

• Work and be trained in a 1:1 setting with a Lead Trainer by your side! Supervised by our team of Board Certified Behavior Analyst's (BCBA) and Program Manager's alongside a professional care team in a collaborative environment!
• Keep the children motivated to learn with enthusiasm and love while maintaining professionalism and data collection in keeping with ABA standards.
• Teach, collect data and help develop skillsets that are delayed.
• We work with non-verbal children and children with behavioral concerns they need to work on.
• Communicate confidentially and professionally with behavior analysts, parents, and other team members.
• Experience with Motivity or similar data collection software is a plus!

REQUIREMENTS

For the BT & RBT positions

• Have exposure working with children or adults with special needs
• Be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Some college experience such as a background in Special Education, Psychology, Mental Health, Communication Disorders, or Behavioral Health is a plus.
