Behavioral Health Aide

The Behavioral Health Aide provides compassionate, in‑home support to clients with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs. This role focuses on assisting individuals in daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a safe, supportive environment that promotes independence and well‑being.

Work Environment

• In‑home care setting in multiple locations with flexible part‑time or full‑time schedules.
• Locations: Kathleen, Rome, Byron, Macon, Ft. Valley, Decatur, Atlanta, Calhoun, Roswell
• May involve working with pediatric clients, individuals with developmental delays.
• Requires empathy, adaptability, and dedication to client dignity and independence.

REQUIREMENTS

• Certification: Valid Behavioral Health Aide (BHA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential.
• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in psychology, social work, or healthcare preferred.
• At least 1 year of direct care or behavioral health support experience preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Current TB test and clean background/drug screening.
• Commitment to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
