Behavioral Health Billing Specialist

Sai Residential Treatment Center (RTC) offers adolescents a safe, structured environment with 24/7 clinical support to focus on their mental health and emotional well-being. Adolescents live on-site and receive consistent, personalized care during a critical stage of development. Treatment includes a balance of individual therapy, group sessions, family involvement, and skill-building activities tailored to each adolescent’s needs. Our programs emphasize healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, and long-term stability, while keeping families actively involved throughout the treatment process.

Sai Residential Treatment Center has an immediate opening for a Behavioral Health Insurance Billing Specialist. We are looking for a candidate with at least two years of Behavioral Health billing experience. This is a part-time position and applicant must have exceptional phone skills, a positive attitude and very detail oriented.

Duties are to include (but not limited to):

• Posting insurance and patient payments including: electronic, check, and credit card payments
• Process denials: contact insurance companies regarding delayed payments and missing information
• Strong ability to audit accounts to determine patient vs. insurance balances
• Accurately post all insurance payments received by the end of the following day
• Creating daily bank deposits of all collections (credit cards, EFTs, personal checks, and insurance checks)
• Answering phone calls and/or emails from patients that have any questions

Our ideal candidate must possess the following:

• Knowledge of Behavioral Health EOB and terminology
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong accounting skills
• Knowledge and experience with Behavioral Health insurance
• Ability to perform frequent repetitive work with attention to detail
• Must be comfortable in making effective and friendly collection calls
• Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and work as part of a team
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, dependability, and promptness

Pay: $22.00 per hour
