Behavioral Health / Detox Nurse

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate LPN or RN to join our team as a PRN Nurse at our substance abuse/Mental Health Facility. The ideal candidate should be able to work night shift and have a passion for helping individuals with substance abuse and mental health disorders.

Position purpose is to provide excellent patient care and services to clients during their treatment in a safe and calm environment. The Nurse takes full responsibility for patient care on his/her shift and is responsible for handling all medical emergencies with regards to patients care per Beachside protocols.

We are looking for compassionate and caring Behavioral Health Nurses to join our team. Must be an experienced RN or LPN, be able to work in an intensive inpatient residential detox setting operating 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years of experience working as an RN / LPN in detox or behavioral health treatment setting.
• Knowledge of Sunwave EMR
• Knowledge of Joint Commission & DCF Principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work day shift.
