The Recovery Village Columbus Drug and Alcohol Rehab is a premier treatment facility in the picturesque town of Groveport, Ohio. Our facility is close enough to airports and major roadways for convenience, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Columbus to encourage renewal and relaxation. RVC is a 80-bed facility offers a complete continuum of care, from medical detox and inpatient treatment to outpatient care and aftercare. The Behavioral Health Medication Technician (BHMT) is responsible for providing direct care and support to patients in a residential behavioral health setting. This role requires accurately reading and understanding medication orders, as well as monitoring and documenting patient self-administration of medications. The BHMT ensures proper retrieval, storage, and disposal of medications in compliance with established policies and procedures. In addition, this position supports patient care by observing behaviors, reporting concerns as appropriate, and assisting with various treatment-related activities.
By promoting safety, recovery, and engagement, the BHMT plays a vital role in maintaining patient well-being, facilitating daily routines, and collaborating with clinical and nursing teams to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following:
Core Job Duties:
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Urgently Hiring: FT Days (7a-7p)
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Coursework or degree in behavioral health or related field preferred.
