Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive mental health and behavioral care to diverse patient populations. You will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals across various settings, including outpatient clinic and telehealth platforms. - Conduct thorough patient assessments, including mental status examinations, vital signs, and physiological evaluations to inform diagnosis and treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based psychiatric interventions such as medication management, therapy sessions, and crisis stabilization
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care strategies that address behavioral health needs
- Utilize the electronic health record (EHR) system (eClinicalWorks) for accurate documentation of patient encounters and treatment progress
- Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to behavioral health services across diverse populations
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and coping strategies to foster long-term wellness
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish
- Current Nurse Practitioner license with certification in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing
- Proven experience working with individuals across age groups
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems; experience with CPT coding and ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards for documentation purposes
- Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, therapy sessions, and medication administration
- Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and practicing infection control protocols in all clinical activities

Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
