Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the behavioral health practice, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to clinical standards.
  • Supervise clinical staff including therapists, counselors, case managers, and support personnel, fostering professional development and team cohesion.
  • Oversee patient intake processes, conduct assessments, and coordinate individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing.
  • Manage and verify clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy in medical records, coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and billing procedures.
  • Coordinate crisis intervention efforts and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety during emergencies or acute episodes.
  • Facilitate the development of group therapy sessions, couples sessions as well as individual therapy by connecting with the community, local and state organizations.
  • Implement data collection strategies for clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education or psychology/public health/social work.
  • Extensive experience working with children, individuals with disabilities—including developmental disabilities—and diverse populations requiring behavioral management.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical counseling techniques including CBT and applied behavior analysis (ABA), and familiarity with HIPAA compliance.
  • Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care; excellent organizational skills for managing medical records and documentation.
  • Must be outgoing, energetic and ability to socialize and communicate effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
