Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Provider to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive behavioral health services to diverse populations. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their wellness goals through evidence-based practices. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups.
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques to support clients in acute distress.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards. Ensuring documentation is timely.
- Engage in supervisor approved clinical research as needed to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients.
- Provide support and resources for additional community services as appropriate and necessary.
- Stay informed about developments in the field of behavioral health to ensure the application of evidence-based practices.
- Work with client's from intake to discharge ensuring appropriate care (including appropriate admission and discharge).
- Maintains appointed caseload.
Skills
- Proficiency in Social Work and Medical Social Work, with a focus on patient advocacy and meeting diverse needs
- Case Management skills to assess, plan, and coordinate care for clients effectively
- Expertise in Mental Health and Behavioral Health, including the ability to provide therapy and support for a variety of conditions
- Active licensure as an LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or eligible for licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in evidence-based treatment approaches and trauma-informed care is a plus
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
